The cup grows with the child: start with the spout lid, then quickly move to the straw lid. Drinking through a straw is good for oral-motor practice. Once the child has stability and control, they'll use the open cup without a lid. Through every stage you also have the snack lid — nothing spills, and it encourages the pincer grip. Made from platinum food-grade silicone and 314 stainless steel. For the first wash use a sponge and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool. For a more thorough clean, separate the silicone from the steel part.
