The 450 ml large bowl has a silicone skin that prevents the stainless steel from denting if it falls, and also protects your furniture and floor.
For the first wash use a sponge and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool. For a more thorough clean, separate the silicone from the steel part.
